About the instructor

Learn with me, clinical herbalist Hunter Cascagnette (they/ them/ theirs). I am a herb grower, harvester and herbal medicine practitioner currently based on Mnidoo Mnising - Manitoulin Island, in Northern Ontario.

​

I graduated a 3-year clinical herbalism program in September 2025 studying with RH Abrah Arneson in Wakefield, Quebec. 

​

I've been growing and storing herbs, wildcrafting and making herbal medicines since 2016. 

​

I’m excited about sharing my knowledge & deep love for plant medicines!

Location:

Currently, I'm available to teach about herbal medicine in person on Manitoulin Island, in Greater Sudbury District and areas surrounding mid-Northern Ontario but if you're located near these areas and would like to book me, please reach out.

-Wild tea harvesting and making

-Medicinal skin salve making 

-Fresh plant tincture harvesting and making 

-Herb harvesting and drying techniques for building your apothecary

*Herbal knowledge of plants uses and energetics woven throughout the workshops
